CHAMPIONS - 2022 Super Trofeo Pro-Am Title

If you’ve ever sat behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo2, you know it’s a physical, high-stakes beast of a car. In 2022, my goal was simple: adapt fast, stay clean, and put the No. 146 PPM Huracán at the front. By the time we reached the final rounds in Portugal, we had turned that goal into a championship reality.

Here’s a look back at the season that laid the foundation for everything I'm doing today in 2026.

The Season of Sweeps

The momentum really built during the summer. I'll never forget the double-header at VIR (Virginia International Raceway). We arrived there after a weekend where literally everything seemed to go wrong in practice—zero track time, mechanical gremlins, you name it.

But that’s where the PPM crew shines. We went from "not knowing where we’d land" to a clean weekend sweep. We did the same at Road America, expanding our points lead just when the pressure started to mount. Those 122 points we racked up across the season weren't given to us; we earned them in the heat of battle.

The Final Showdown: Portimão

Everything came down to the wire in Portimão, Portugal. Racing at the Algarve International Circuit is a bucket-list experience, but doing it with a championship on the line is a whole different level of intensity.

  • The Title Clincher: In the final race of the North American season, we had to charge from behind. I managed to make the pass for the Pro-Am lead with just over three minutes remaining on the clock. Crossing that line to officially secure the North American Pro-Am Driver Championship was a moment of pure relief and adrenaline.

  • The Tiebreaker: The World Finals were even crazier. We actually ended up tied on points with our teammates for the World Title. Even though the tiebreaker (fastest lap) didn't go our way for the global crown, standing on that world stage as the North American champions was an incredible feat for our first year in the series.

What I Carry Forward

Looking back from 2026, I realize how much that 2022 season shaped my approach to racing. It taught me how to manage a points lead, how to trust a team through technical failures, and how to execute a pass when the championship is literally minutes away from ending.

To Bryson, the team at Precision Performance Motorsports, and our partners like Lamborghini Palm Beach—thank you for a legendary year. We took home seven wins and ten podiums, but more importantly, we took home the No. 1 plate in Pro/Am.
